Allama muhammad iqbal was a great poet. He was born in sialkot in 1877. He his early education from Mir hassan. He passed his F.A from murrey college sialkot. Then he got admission to Govt college lahore. There, he was impressed by professor Arnold.

His poem please both the young and the old. They give us the message of hope and success. seeing  the muslims in misery, he was very pained. he gave them the idea of a separate homeland. He awoke the sleeping nation. He died in april 21, 1938. His poetry is fresh even today
